In December 2016, Nā Hoaloha was awarded one of the “People Who Made a Difference” by The Maui News. This award has been a feature of The Maui News for the past 22 years and recognizes outstanding people or groups who have contributed to the community.

In February 2015, Nā Hoaloha was nominated to receive the Mayor’s Small Business Award for non-profits.
Nā Hoaloha Receives National Award of Excellence
GEORGETOWN, TX; On January 26, 2015, the National Volunteer Caregiving Network announced Nā Hoaloha as the recipient of the 2015 National Volunteer Caregiver Network Excellence Award. The awards recognize outstanding volunteer caregiving organizations (VCOs) that incorporate best of the best practices while providing no-charge services to those with long-term health needs.

Nā Hoaloha Selected for Whole Foods Community Day of Giving 2014
In 2014, Nā Hoaloha was selected by Whole Foods Market for their Community Day of Giving and the Feed 4 More Campaign. Shoppers at Whole Foods made monetary donations that purchased 14 pallets of non-perishable Whole Foods Market brand groceries. The food was distributed by Nā Hoaloha volunteers in January 2015 to homebound seniors in Maui County.
