Current Grants - 2010

*      Maui County Office on Aging - $98,500
       
Provides funding for friendly visits, telephone reassurance
          and respite for family caregivers.

*      Laulima Grant – County of Maui - $31,000
       
This one year Laulima (“Share The Work”) grant is
          earmarked to supplement the salary of our Volunteer
          Coordinator to provide additional hours for recruiting,
           training and matching volunteer caregivers.

*      Volunteer Recognition Grant – $5,000
          This County grant provides funds for Na Hoaloha to honor
           our volunteers with a gala Volunteer Recognition and
           awards luncheon,  including entertainment, gifts, flowers,
           certificates of appreciation and photo I.D. badges.

*      Hawaii Community Foundation - $150,000 (3 yrs)
          This grant covers adult day care scholarships, respite,
          transportation and in-home care services for elders.

*      Thomas J. Long Foundation - $5,000
          The grant helps us support the Aloha Cruisers assisted
         
transportation program.

*      G.N. Wilcox Trust - $5,000
          The grant helps us support the Aloha Cruisers assisted
           transportation program.

*      Kent & Polli Smith Foundation - $1,000
          The grant helps us support the Aloha Cruisers assisted
          
transportation program.

*      Young Brothers - $500
          The grant helps us support the Aloha Cruisers assisted
          
transportation program.

*      Ohana Care - $500
          The grant helps us support the Menehune Helpers Pilot Project.
